Back in 1998, Boards Of Canada headed down to John Peel’s radio show to record a session of tracks. While three of the tunes they taped there – ‘Happy Cycling’, ‘Aquarius’ and ‘Olson’ – were all packaged up as a Warp Records EP a year later, bar ‘XYZ’. It’s a real treat, then, that Warp have managed to include the previously-unreleased ‘XYZ’ on this new pressing of the Peel Session, released as part of Warp’s WXAXRXP birthday series.
