After dropping the Nubian Quadrant EP through Byrd Out back in 2018, Dutch producer Philou Louzolo returns to the label with the Sharingan EP. Louzolo’s compositions here again blend Afro-house influences with electro and techno techniques for more dancefloor gold. The remixes split Louzolo’s sound three ways – Slikback’s entry ends up somewhere between industrial techno and kuduro, Pouya Eshaei (Ariwo) strips things back and Native Cruise takes Sharingan’s title-track to the Balearic Islands.
