‘Trash Heap’ is a fascinating document of the creative process behind Portland-based psych/space-rock outfit Herbcraft. A collection of lo-fi four-track cassette recordings laid down by Matt LaJoie in late 2012, these tunes were lost in a forgotten box before being rediscovered earlier in 2020. Digitally transferred and remastered, ‘Trash Heap’s Spacemen 3-esque songs are now presented on vinyl.
